This allows for flexible and predictable operation and full use of the radio module capability connected to the antenna.The dimensions and weight of the antenna have been reduced and the integrated casing is fully shielded to protect the device, antennas and pigtails, both from weather conditions and from radio interference. This allows for convenient creation of compact, discrete and interference-resistant base stations.The antenna has a redundant DC short-circuit preventing the DC current from being induced at the antenna output while protecting the device connected to the antenna during lightning discharges.
