This is a five-port version of NETPROTECTOR with PoE in a metal housing (5 input and 5 output sockets) with the possibility of supplying power to several inputs. Used when it is necessary to power the device from several sources, e.g. a multi-family building, there is no independent power supply and the power supply must be given from a larger number of customers. By default, the device is prepared so that 3 ports can be supplied with power (input ports), the DC output is used to power the device locally, e.g. switch, MT, UBQ, the other 2 ports can be connected to POE devices (output ports).
Netprotektor protects network devices against overvoltages that may occur during a storm, for example. It protects both data pairs and pairs of PoE. It can also be used as a standard PoE grommet and the power supply can be fed to each of the 5 RJ45 sockets separately (set with jumpers). It has a standard DC 2.1 / 5.5 power socket.
