Netprotector AirFiber is a Gigabit Ethernet Netprotector equipped with an external housing with a flap. It protects network devices against overvoltages (also in the negative direction) and potential differences that can occur during a storm. Discharge lamps (GDT, Superior UL497B) were used for protection, which allowed to offer the possibility of discharging up to 20kA. Overvoltage protection also covers the pins responsible for PoE supply. The device offers the possibility of power supply via twisted pair.
